Heavenly Hope Martin - Deja Vu

Once again CP's favorite arrestee Heavenly Hope Martin finds herself as a guest at Mecklenburg County Sherriff Garry McFadden's Residence Inn and Extended Stay Hotel.

This time the charges are possession of a stolen vehicle conspiracy to commit and felony larceny. According to the MCSO web site she was released late Thursday evening with a first appearance in Superior Court Friday afternoon.

Followers of Cedar Posts will reconize Miss Martin from her many guest apperences, so y'all know this isn't Miss Martin's first rodeo. This 100 pounds of trouble has an extended history in Mecklenburg and Gaston Counties. Stolen cars, fake tags, DWLR, driving the wrong way on a dual lane highway and countless theft and drug charges.

This little hot mess needs an intervention or something.

Oh yeah. That's exactly what she needs. A little "IN"tervention....
Preferably from behind!

I'm no psychologist but it seems these girls always take a wrong turn, first the wrong boyfriend then its drugs then prostitution to support the boyfriend and the drug habit, then crimes like credit card theft then B&E then robbery and one thing leads to another and before long they are meth addicts turning tricks on the street in Gastonia.

She's a freaking "coal burner" no other reason for this sort of low life behavior. Best just to leave her be.

What the hell is a coal burner?

Must be the same guy that called Julie Berry a lint head. I had to go look that up. I'm not used to some of these hillbilly terms on here.

We prefer the much more politically correct terms "Burrhead" or "Sambo" round these parts....

Someone explain to this non law enforcement person why this seems so common? Do these people just like getting busted or do cops get to know them so well that they look for them when out on patrol? I see the same people showing up on CP blog and the MCSO mug shots all the time.

I highly doubt any LE is looking for these repeaters, but the law of averages catches up. When some trash like this spends all their waking hours figuring out how to support their habits by robbing or stealing, chances are, they are going to get caught along the line. Even if they only get caught 10% of the time, that number stands out compared to the 90% of the population who doesn't intentionally break a law.
I don't know what the fix is for someone this bad off. Death is the most likely outcome. Seems like she's just bouncing off rock bottom right now, and if that hasn't stunned her into help or a turnaround, nobody can force it on her.
