Dan Clodfelter Takes Over As Charlotte's Mayor
Later this morning Dan Clodfelter will put his feet up on Patrick Cannon's old desk. Maybe a little cigar smoke will help clear the air?
The most telling thing was from the Charlotte Disturber- “Who are you? We in the black community don’t know who you are. Who are you? … No, we don’t need you.” Cannon will do his 24-32 months (if that), come back out and be back on city council or something else within a year or so. Clodfelter will be gone as mayor as soon as possible and the next in line will be there sans Marion Barry. As they say, A corrupt black man is better than a white man anyday! Congrats Charlotte!! Glad I don't live there anymore. Oh, and enjoy your new Meck County Sherrif Antoine Ensley...hahahahahahaha!!
“Who are you? We in the black community don’t know who you are. Who are you? … No, we don’t need you.” This killed me because every straight ticket Dem voter voted for him at one time, didn't they? I wonder who else they have elected that they don't know.
Once again the people that control us are the one's who enslaved us and hung our brothers and parents and grandparents from Poplar Trees in the Jim Crow South.
Now a white clown of a man has replaced our rightfully elected mayor who was a black man as was the one before him. Charlotte is a black city and should have a black man or woman as mayor, that it does mean that racism is alive and well in the south.
Whites fear that the skin of a black man will stain their city but it is no longer their city it is our city now.
We demand a black mayor and we shall have a black mayor.
Let's just elect an ETHICAL, HONEST civil servant with more integrity than greed. Does it really matter what color his skin is? No. Cannon, Monroe are corrupt...it is a fact. McCrory is corrupt.....fact. Corrupt comes in all colors....fact. A civil servant gets a little bit of power and their integrity goes out the window replaced by hubris, arrogance and ego....fact.
Let's just elect an ETHICAL, HONEST civil servant with more integrity than greed. Does it really matter what color his skin is? No. Cannon, Monroe are corrupt...it is a fact. McCrory is corrupt.....fact. Corrupt comes in all colors....fact. A civil servant gets a little bit of power and their integrity goes out the window replaced by hubris, arrogance and ego....fact.
