"He had a different way of looking at the land, the trouble at hand or any circumstance that might just come along .... and he measured his life in cedar posts and miles of barbed wire fence”.
Well, I for one think we should be thankful we have a President that can actually read and is taking an interest in our children and what the future holds for them. But that's just me. :)I daresay if McCain had been elected, he would not have had theINTEREST to address and encourage our children, our future. (But Palin could have given them a history and geography lesson!)
Interest in the future of the children? Words - doing a speech that is broadcast for all school aged children. Actions - Running up a deficit so high our kids kids will suffer for it. Continuing corporate hand-outs. Creating a health care system not based on competition, but on government control. Growing government.Which is louder?
Anonymous 8:17Let's see, Dubya left him with a TREMENDOUS deficit that he has had to take extreme measures to try to correct, and yes, that included bailouts to try to save our drowning economy.Get your facts straight....Not government control, and yes, there will be competition. It will actually encourage competition. But it will also make the big insurance boys play by some ethical and compassionate rules for a real change.Dubya "grew" the government, and also trashed the constitution, lied to the American people (something I believe Obama WILL NOT do, and hasn't done).Health Care reform must start somewhere, it cannot be put off any longer. Come on, what happened to all the "compassionate conservative" bullshit?Every American deserves at least the level of health care that we are paying for for our Senators and Congressmen in Washington that THEY decided was good for them...don't you think?Words? Doing a speech that is broadcast for all school aged children?? What??? Did you LISTEN to the speech? Didn't think so.
