Seven Words .... Make That 119 You Can Never Say On The AIr

Randy Michaels’ is the CEO of what was once, one of the nation's most profitable media empires the Tribune Company. Earlier this week Michaels sent a memo telling his WGN Chicago sublings of 119 unacceptable expressions or words that were never to be used during news broadcasts.

If the list of forbidden words was enforced at Charlotte's once dominant media empire WBT, broadcasters like Keith Larson would be rendered speechless.

Here is the list all 119, we have left out George Carlin's 7 to keep Cedar Posts PG.

“Flee” meaning “run away”
“Good” or “bad” news
“Laud” meaning “praise”

That is so crazy, but you are correct Keith Larsen couldn't talk about the news today oh boy without uttering one of those many tried phrases.
