If Tiger wants to be humble then he sure is going about it the wrong way. If he's concerned about what people think or how people will react then maybe he should put his mouth where the money isn't.
Maybe he should play The Verizon Heritage of Golf at Hilton Head the week after the Masters, a tournament that will be without a sponsor next year and one he's always passed on, and maybe he should commit to playing Charlotte rather than holding out keeping the fans guessing.
He could commit to playing in a ProAm or two something Woods rarely does. There is so much he could do to give back to the game that has given him so much.
He could play the GGO now called the Wynham Championship, then again maybe not since the Greensboro fans are always the loudest, but you get the idea.
Give something back and stop thinking about yourself all the time, the game is much more important than winning majors.
