Sopea Pich and his brother were working inside the convenience store when Young entered, pulled out a gun and demanded money. Pich said the store has been robbed in the past and he and his brother both had guns for protection.
According to New Channel 36 "He was yelling, 'Give me the money. Give me the money.' I didn't really have time to think. I shot him," Pich said.
Police said they found Young in front of a home on nearby McIntyre Street.
