Island Boy
One of the hardest things I do each week during the summer is leave Charlotte to work aboard a 75 foot private yacht that runs out of Charleston. Equally hard is returning from a week or so at sea to my land locked life in Charlotte.
As much as I love the water and having my toes in the water and ass in the sand, I am a home body. On the other hand this is really hard to leave.
Somewhere south of Bald Head Island about 20 miles offshore on a hazy Carolina Summer day.
