Pendergraph vs Pittenger

Pittenger Left and Pendergraph Right

When Mecklenburg County Sheriff Pendergraph retired in 2007 he was paid for 18 days of unused vacation time. Something most of us would expect to be paid if we left the employment of any company.

But Robert Pittenger has used this fact in a rather twisted attack ad, saying that Pendergraph took “a secret, taxpayer-funded bonus”.

Of course Pendergraph could have pushed back his retirement date by 3 1/2 weeks, but Harry Jones signed off on the final paycheck and therefore Pittenger's Attack Ad is a real stretch.

What might become as issue however is Pittenger's Real Estate Investment Company that markets "Private Placement" real estate deals that use loop holes in investment regulations to sell investment deals that are except from the scrutiny of securities regulators. Pittenger's company openly promotes the former state senator's "connections" inside North Carolina Government.

Cedar's Take: Isn't time we smarten up and not send another "good ole boy" to Washington? How about someone with new ideas, someone willing to "represent" the people who elect them to office?

Pittenger's trashy daughters being used to show how human he is have really made me think about voting for the crook. How could the guy be that bad if he sends his 2 harlots out to push his conservsative agenda of using tax money to enrich his family.?

Both Pittenger and Pendergraph have deep skeletons in their closets, especially Pendergraph. Dig a little deeper into Pendergraph's pre-sheriff days. You will have more than you can print with all he was involved in. Both will fit right in with the rest of the self-serving, egotistical, and incompetent politicians already in Washington. Absolutely nothing will ever change if we keep electing the same good ole boys.

Look at Pendergraph's company Keith and Keith corections- They brag about doing business with Meck County on their website. Talk about crony capitalism! Also laughable is democrat Pendergraph's claim to have graduted from Harvard's Kennedy School of Govt. (He attended a seminar at Harvard) and strike 3 is Sue Myrick's endorsement- maybe Jim get this endorsement via a little pillow talk with ol' Sue. She does have a history...

Rumors can destroy quality of life but how come no one is brave enough to focus on the corruption within the county? I guess everyone is afraid of their own shadow.

I wouldn't vote for either of those two or Dulin or Peacock. All of them egotistical well beyond capabilities, and all as honest as each other. All running for business connections.

What information do you have about the others?

Well neither of these shitheels meets your qualifications.

To paraphrase Harry Truman, "Pendergraph is a shifty eyed goddamn liar".

Ric Killian isn't an egotistical self-promoter, isn't a wealthy man, and - for some reason - isn't in the conversation. In a democracy, we get the leadership we deserve.... and it's looks like we're going to ignore integrity for some retread old guys. Our fault.

hey, I asked for information about the other candidates...
skip Dulin and Peacock as far as I'm concerned

Your assumptions about Pittenger's daughters are unfounded and ignorant. I don't know both of them but one of the girls is a magna cum laude graduate of Davidson College and elected to phi beta kappa. What are your credentials?

Harlot doesn't preclude any level of education or intelligence, just means they're promiscuous. Somehow I doubt 9:02 is directly familiar with them to know if this is true. Personally, I have a problem with any politician who throws is family into a campaign, then when people start criticizing them, say that they are off-limits. Like heck, anyone you use to push your campaign is fair game for those who wish to criticize your campaign.

Andy Dulin for Congress? What a joke!
This man has never earned a dollar on his own. In fact he lives off his mommy & daddy's money. They even bought him a hamburger franchise which he ran into the ground. He claims to be in the real estate business. Ask one of his real estate co-workers when is the last time he even did a showing.
This narcissistic individual needs public office more than we need him. Take away political office and he has nothing. He in his mind would be nobody. He could even get a job; but, he could still live off his mommy & daddy.
