This will all be water under the bridge in about a week just like his whole degree circus and the many other problems . Everyone will forget about it and he will move on to the next issues.

I have to vehemently disagree with you.
The issues that have come up are a direct result of the mismanagement of CMPD by rodney and ray/ray.

If they are left unchecked to continue their systematic dismantling of CMPD, it will be City Council that will be responsible.
This water is muddy, and it's NOT going under any bridge, there's a dam blocking it's way. And that dam is made up of everyone at CMPD that is just sick and tired of the way these two do business.
I think the sleeping lion has been poked too many times...it's getting ready to ROAR!!

It will be interesting to see what officers and command staff get placed out at the academy withing the next year. It is my understanding that the training staff out there now is not happy.

I bet their hands are tied behind their backs and Ray Ray/Romo calls all the shots.

rodney and ray/ray call all the shots all the time everywhere.

They take macro managing to the extreme....there is NOTHING that they don't have their pudgy little fingers in...and their stooges are constantly reporting back and just waiting to do their bidding.

I can't be told this over and over and over by so many without it being true.

Nothing is going to FIX CMPD but rodney and ray/ray leaving..period.

He has caused such a divide in the department. NO ONE trusts anyone anymore. People know that ethics and integrity are a LIABILITY under rodney and ray/ray.

There is no way to "fix" the many minefields they have planted except for them to leave...even then it is going to take years for CMPD to regain it's honorable, respected place among PD's.

You are right. I talk with police officers from different departments in this region on a daily basis. They always bring up CMPD and talk about how much of a joke the department is at this time. Of course we all know that all police departments have their problems, but this just keeps getting worse for CMPD. It all boils down to the leadership. This problem will not get better until CMPD has an actual leader in place, and they have one already in a Deputy Chief's position at this time. Like I said before, Monroe is not even eligable to be in the Sgt's process so what in the #$%% are they thinking. This is such a dictatorship. Then with him wearing that "flashy ohhh ohh look at me coat" for the press confrenece was all I needed to see. What an ego. Stephens wasn't so bad afterall.

The Deputy Chiefs are nothing more than a group of "company men." If there was a true leader among them that person would have spoken up by now.
