In what may have been the best Final Four match up in 30 years, Duke held on to win 61 - 59 beating Butler.
Butler's buzzer beating winning shot had more hang time that Micheal Jordan and finally bounced off the rim leaving Butler fans standing and Duke Fans elated.
I'm a Carolina boy, Tarheel Blue through and through but Coach K is one of the best.
Years back in 1987, Krzyzewski, Dean Smith and NC State's Jimmy Valvano played in a Pro AM golf tournament, it was a heck of a threesome. I don't think you could have paired up three more differecnt people, yet they had the best time playing golf together. Smith, quiet and steady with his putting game, Krzyzeski easy going, playing a sure short game and Jimmy V loud and wild with driver.
Carolina Basketball it just doesn't get much better than this.
