Bomb Squad Called CMPD Uses Silent 911 for Gang Related Murder Attempt

Cedar Posts hears of a new trend at CMPD where high profile calls are sent out via cell phone rather than radio, in an attempt to avoid alerting the news media over the radio. If CP understands correctly CMPD dispatchers have been told by Chief Monroe to use cell phones to notify certain high priority response teams.

Word is the gang known as the Latin Kings in Greensboro had a little beef with a rival Charlotte gang member, so they sent him a package. CMPD called in the bomb techs via cell phone who later detonated the bomb, last Thursday.

Nothing heard from CMPD or the local news media. But word on the street is the King's message was heard loud and clear.

Hmmm. Any chance the Tryon St/BAC incident was handled the same way?

Guess someone could ask for the 911 one tape for that report and see what happens.

Another Black Helicopter story Cedar?

It is odd the Observer and local television stations seem to be out of touch with crime stories and breaking news like this for some reason.

Could it be that CP is right?

Really, would it come as ANY surprise that rodney is obfuscating on this?

"And he's been so up front and truthful about everything else"...
right.

Cedar you are close as always. I can't tell you but you are just about right with what is going on.

It's not really a Rutt Mutt idea more along the line of the Feds.

But news is coming everyone, so wait for it.

Did you mean "detonated," typo-breath?

No they donated the bomb to charity!

Seriously blogging away on a cell is not easy. Even harder driving down the interstate.

So detonated the bomb. And somewhere I have where when it should be were. Or the other way around.

I've been wondering why there's been a shortage of tin foil in Charlotte: Because MeckDick and CedarPost have been wearing it all.

Even if it is true... So what!!! The media aren't the only ones that have scanners... Besides, the media too often puts out info that doesn't need to be put right out, but I know most of you don't agree even though it is true.
