At 3:17 today Cedar Posts learned that Micheal Harvey had been transferred to CMPD and Mecklenburg County Sheriffs Officials.
According to sources Micheal Harvey Niagara County inmate identification number 5868 was transferred from Niagara County Jail to officals from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. The transfer took place at 1500 hours (3:00PM). Mr. Harvey was dressed in the same clothes he was arrested in three weeks ago. He will be flown back to Charlotte to await pending charges in the death of Valerie Hamilton.
Update 6:19 The Charlotte Observer and WCNC confirm Havey is in the custody of CMPD officials.
Update 9:00 WSOC reporting Harvey has arrived at the Mecklenburg County Jail intake center.
