WSOC's Holly Maynard describing an attack in Uptown Charlotte last night.
"The man was hit over the head with a fluorescent light bulb, but is expected to survive".
Just plain dumb.
I know its not the news anchor it is the staff that makes the anchor look dumb, unless the news anchor reads the same dumb statement more than once. And in this case "BINGO" Holly is just dumb enough not to realize a fluorescent light bulb is clearly not a lethal weapon reading the same lines from the 9AM news again at Noon.

Holly is a ditz I am not sure anyone at WSOC has even the IQ of a gnat.
HD doesn't do any of them any favors so rather than hurt my eyes I will stick with FOX!
