Something You Don't See Every Day - Car Carrier Fail



I spotted this on my commute to Charleston last week. A car carrier loaded with new cars. Only one small issue, while loading the top riding cars the racking system failed because the "loader" forgot to "pin" the rack. Result 3 cars on the bottom are a total loss. On the left of the Nissan you can see the broken hydraulic arm.

I don't see any broken hydraulic rams in that picture. The one to the left of the nissan is supposed to be at that angle. It might be a blown hose that let it drop if it wasn't pinned properly.

Too much damage t the rear of that car. It was not a failed system.
