Lynx Trail Blockage - Update

CP received this email yesterday:

Thank you for your email. It is great when our customers are looking out for us. CATS is aware of the improvements being made to the multi-use trail along the LYNX Blue Line. Below, I have attached the information that was sent electronically to subscribers for the LYNX Blue Line notifications. Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Temporary Closure to Portions of the Multi-use Trail Along the LYNX Blue Line

Improvements are being made to a portion of the City’s multi-use trail located along the LYNX Blue Line between Remount Road and the New Bern Station. During this time, parts of the trail are closed to bicycle and pedestrian traffic.

Weather permitting the multi-use trail should reopen in late March/early April. During the closure, the existing sidewalks along South Boulevard are the pedestrian detour route.

Youngblood Street and Griffith Street are the primary bicyclist detour route.

Thank you,
