I'm blessed to have been the grandson of International Harvester Company's head of the farm implement divison back during the IH glory days.
As a teenager I had free run of any IH equiptment I was willing to tackle.
Now most those who taught me the how's and why's of tractor driving, my grandfather included are gone.
It's been a while since I've fired up a tractor on a cold sprin morning, but the sound and feel of the cold metal coming to life still lingers in my soul.
The sound of a tractor is music indeed.
