Ballantyne Crossing Sales Pitch From Charlotte Housing Authority

Jennifer Gallman, Charlotte Housing Authority spokeswoman, told WBT's Tara Servatius that the Charlotte Housing Authority has hired more than 50 security guards and added a number of cameras to help fight crime at public housing projects.

Now don't you feel better South Charlotte?

I emailed everyone on the City Council as well as the mayor voicing my disapproval. I encourage everyone to call and email them daily.

These measures are all fluff measures taken after CHA lost the civil lawsuit last week. The most effective measure is to evict those who violate their leases. Unfortunately, there is nobody with enough gumption to do that.
