CMPD Pledge Fund

CP is short on time but the CMPD Pledge Fund is a crazy mess.

Someone knows what happened but CMPD distancing themselves from the Charlie Foxtrot doesn't help.

CP knows of a 1/2 dozen retired officers who saw payouts of $10,000 or more. But like all Ponzi schemes those who get out last always lose.

It remains to be seen if there was any crime committed or if CMPD was in anyway responsible. What is clear CMPD needs to step up and make it right.

Anyone disagree?

Obviously we are screwed, however the Officers that have already retired deserve the money that they earned. The rest of us need to be willing to fight for the money that we have put in! Just pay me back the money I've put in and I'll be happy. We are going to have to do this as a team and not take any weak ass settlement.

Any word on the lawsuit aganinst Susan Mannasah? I heard its gonna cost her.

Anonymous said...

What is she being sued for?

Anonymous said...

She slandered a homicide detective, and now he is sueing her. If I had money in the pledge fund..I would check with Mike Peacock first. He has a way of making money disapear with nothing in return.

Mike Tinsley got 41,000 after they fired him back in 2014. Then this past May a Federal
Judge awarded him 125,000.00. All stemming from a crazy relationship with Aimee Aquino.
Tinsley gets $166,000.00 total for getting fired but retirees cant get their pledge fund for not getting fired.

The pledge was between individuals and disbursed by HR at the request of those individuals to the recipients. The city isn't responsible for the money, the individuals are. The fact that HR stopped allowing folks to join may be wrong, but the city isn't going to pay anyone for anything.

Anonymous said...

The city facilitated it. The city withdrew the money from our checks, transferred to a bank account and a city employee (Ed Williams) was responsible for disbursing the funds. City employees pressured and enticed other city employees to join. The forms to join were located in a city HR office. But like you said the city has nothing to do with it.

Because if your black, a lesbian, or a part of the pink mafia. You've got it made within CMPD.

Anonymous said...

Im going to make the city $$$Show me the money$$$

Anonymous said...

Pink Mafia? Watch what you say about the females at this place! This place will let you quit 2 times, come back to a desk job where you will get promoted to LT for doing nothing. You can then go sit at another desk...while people continue to get burned out on the road.

Gary Mcfadden had an entire career of blunders at this place...and look where he ended up! Could you imagine if he was white?

Anonymous said...

Nobody is getting paid! You might get your $100 share of the remaining money but that’s it!! It was always a Ponzi scheme!

You are correct, sir. You can't operate and facilitate a program involving invested monies then turn around and say 'I had nothing to do with it and I am not responsible'......

Well. You can SAY it, but have fun with that......

If I were a lawyer, I'D take that case.

To avoid a lawsuit, at the LEAST every officer should be compensated for every penny they put into the fund.

Thank GOD I didn't sign up for that Ponzi scheme. Sounded good on paper.....but most Ponzi schemes do.

Oh....and THANKS, Cedar. Your captcha program only had me 'click' on 2 different frames. Kudos.

speaking of lawsuits, rumor has It that another airport officer is suing CMPD. anyone got anything on that?

Anonymous said...

That airport lawsuit isn't a rumor. The officer is seeking treble damages. It has to do with Rodney Monroe taking from the pledge fund to pay Stukey hush money. I was told the SBI has taken the case on the criminal side at the direction of the State AG. I don't want to say too much on here but it is getting ready to get real interesting around here.

Anonymous said...

11:23am RESPONSE)
Dont bullshit us on here. Treble damages? I had to go google that phrase. WTF was the hush money about? Dont bullshit us. Was it the sex video at the CVAC or the fuck job at the LEC weightroom in the basement? Do tell motherfucker!

Anonymous said...

The BS has suddenly gotten thick in here...

Anonymous said...

11:02am RESPONSE]
No that CVAC video is a real thing. Trust Me. Thaw got kicked out of the training staff for doing that to Stukey. The irony is she got put there years later. The LEC fuck in the weightroom is also a real thing. They had the lights off and an officer walked in on the action.

I dont know about this SBI investigation, though. I want to hear more about it.

Anonymous said...

I just watched the WSOC TV clip of Major Rutledge trying to explain away a double homicide. He was like "We dont get a lot of problems out here. This is a really nice neighborhood".

Lol, look at that apartment complex and tell me that with a straight face, buddy. How do these people keep their jobs?

Anonymous said...

Isn't the BS always thick in here? It's the same thing all the time. You can't move on past Stukey just because it wasn't you in the weight room or whatever location is thrown out. The reason people look at the comments is to read the outrageous comments and get a good laugh.

Anonymous said...

@ 7:06... what the fuck would an airport officer sue for? That is the most do nothingness division in the department. Maybe their latte wasn't hot enough.

Anonymous said...

The airport is the place to be! Keep sweating ur nuts off chasing misdemeanors in your division. We in the A/C making the same as u.

Anonymous said...

Hell naw. The place to be is a k-8 school as a PTO. I just play kickball all day and get free lunch. Imma be a sgt someday soon.

Anonymous said...

The airport is a bunch of fake cops, bunch of security guards with CMPD patches on.

Anonymous said...

5:47 says the guy who put in 5 times and did nt get an interview. Keep trying buddy .

Anonymous said...

Calm down, yall are all losers besides North Tryon. Whats up with Dance and his law$uit?

Show him the money, Vicki?

Anonymous said...

oh yeah Ruff, How you training them kids on PTO? SRO with a PTO pay bump..total fake cop.

SteveN said...

Laugh at the Airport Division all you want, but I'm long past realizing that the smart officers put in for a slot at the airport.....and the lucky ones got picked.

C'mon, seriously? As fucked over as Patrol had gotten over the last 5....10 years......understaffed.....overworked.....given every shit job imaginable with no support......you guys don't think that transferring out of sight/out of mind to the Airport wasn't a SMART move on the part of the officers who made that jump???

Lots of sour grapes going on in here.

Anonymous said...

Those officers assigned to CDIA have mastered the art of self-preservation and career survival.

There is no reason to be mad at them or jealous of them.

Anonymous said...

I would put in to work out there... who's the brass out there nowadays? Is it still Herring?

Anonymous said...

@10:08am. First of all Mr. P6400 Code #. Damn, Same team brother.
BLUE., BLUE, BLUE !!!!! Please don’t talk shit about CDIA, SRO, etc.
you need to relax, take a deep breath. You have 29-1/2 years to go. If I can give you some friendly advice. Do us al a big favor and work at least 3 years in patrol and stop submitting to every vacancy email that comes out. It will make you a better officer and you will be more appreciative when you finally land a good spot.
I’m out !

It's Captain King and Moorefield out there.

Anonymous said...

yall I have said on here befor. Dave Moorefield is done after retirement. I am just waiting for Dave. Airport or wherever, its just a waste of time for him.

Anonymous said...

Good to see the City Manager spent 2.9 million on the old car shop on Seigle that he didn’t have approval to spend I guess that’s why he said he didn’t have any more for pay

Anonymous said...

Anyone else think that they suspended the CMS superintendent because they want to put a black man in charge? They suspended him for some chincy stuff, too.

Anonymous said...

To those shit talking about the Airport Division, you keep chugging the hater-aide, we'll keep sipping our coffee.

Anonymous said...

Hey airport....try not serving alcohol to babies. Im gonna have Lou Rango and Mike Ford launch an investigation against you guys and your wild ways.

Everclear...or 151, little buddy?

Anonymous said...

Anyone want to carpool to Area 51? I feel like there are a few people on here that would be down to go

Anonymous said...

Hey @7:30.... dickweed, that was one officer who did that and he no longer works for us. Its not like the airport officers have a bar/daycare set up at the airport. Don't hate.

Anonymous said...

Any division that has Dave Moorefield making decisions cant be that far from an empty liquor bottle.

Anonymous said...

don't know much about Moorefield but if its Nathan King that is out there, good luck getting past that ego of his. couldn't pay me double to work for him. did that once.... never again. fucker is 73

Anonymous said...

I remember Chickeree used to sit his lazy ass out there on the golf cart. No shame at all.

Anonymous said...

Is Nathan King related to the other Kings in CMPD?

Anonymous said...

Is the FOP gonna defend the cited airport Officer a second time? Seems like the money for that could be for an officer that deserves a defense. FOP save the legal defense funds.

Anonymous said...

What did they get cited for?

Anonymous said...

Did the city manager really lobby all the council members to vote for the RNC?

Anonymous said...

Yall remember when I said CMS was trying to fire the superintendent and hire a black guy?

Now every major gov office in the city is controlled by black people. Have fun with that, Charlotte.

^^^^REMEMBER??^^^^

Anonymous said...

Quit shittin on the airport. We all know the dumping ground these days is the Body Worn Camera unit. Take a look and you tell me?

Anonymous said...

But seriously area 51 is not going to storm itself....

Anonymous said...

Didn't King come from the BWC unit?

Anonymous said...

I woke up this morning, and I wasnt related to the Holmes twins. Its a great day to be alive even if I have to walk into the LEC.

Anonymous said...

I'll shit all over the airport cause everyone that goes out there is washed up. Can't handle it in a real division then complain when Starbucks gets your coffee order wrong. Try working Metro, pussies

Anonymous said...

Here we go with the Metro syndrome.

Anonymous said...

July 25, 2019 at 10:52........

Officer Preston, you need to slow it down and understand the team philosophy. You have been suspended 10 times in your short career, at any which time we could have fired you. Please be mindful of these other divisions as they all contribute the betterment of our city. If you still have questions, please stop by my office.

What about the Dance lawsuit? Specifics?

Anonymous said...

Vicki was talkin junk about Dance's penis during a ceremony. THen Vicki thretened Rob with career suicide if he spoke up about it. He went to City HR and complained. He is sueing her for 100k and it is going to federal court in October.

I dont know what is going on with Rodney's treble damages because of the Stukey cover up.

Anonymous said...

Good riddance to Officer Finnis. Never should have been a cop in the first place. Like she is ever gonna show up on some 10-40 at the transit center.

Anonymous said...

Where did Finnis leave for? Also, what's the deal with the SGT's list?

Anonymous said...

Anon July 28, 11:24 PM

Why? So your P6020 code number can supervise a bunch of 2200 code numbers in Providence?

Shannon ( not afraid to put my name) Finis said...

So sorry to disappoint.... Finis ( correct spelling) is still here. #fakenews.

From what I understand they put the money in the general police fund, which makes them the manager and negates that it was participant driven. They will pay but how much? As the managers of said funds they were responsible for doing just that, managing. I guess RoMos $100k remodel of the chief office from that same fund did not contribute to its demise, did it? Or the fact that most of the current command staff now wears regular business attire, instead of the uniform of their office, to lessen their connection to the department and all of its inequities.

Anonymous said...

Taking a step further from the above RoMo remodel...

Did the funds that Putney used to send that group of officers to Mexico City come from the general fund as well. Heck Chief Foster went as a chaperone and fell off a bike injuring herself at least that's what I heard- were liquid refreshments involved?

There was a group of CMPD as well as other agency officers that were going under the funding of an outside sponsor and when the sponsor backed out, Chief Putney said we will pay for everyone to go. **He did not know at the time that it was going to cost the department over $100K. That too might have helped the demise of the pledge funds if it came from the general funds.

CAN you say mismanagement- THEY will PAY!

Hang in there folks your payday will come. In fact after their retained counsel looks into the above mentioned facts they might decide to do like they do to the families of fatal officer shootings and just sign the checks behind closed doors.

Anonymous said...

I just want to know if there is a group of officers involved that has decided to join forces with an attorney? I would like that very much because I did contribute to the fund for a full 29 years. I want what was promised, not some petty settlement!!
