Heavenly Hope Martin - She Apparently Loves Doing It The Wrong Way

There's just something odd about Heavenly Martin's arrest record, she's been arrested 1/2 dozen times and four of those times, according to the Mecklenburg Country Sheriff's website, have been for driving the wrong way on a dual lane highway.

Heavenly Hope Martin Courtesy of MCSO
Hard to tell if this is just a computer error, a re-arrest of a fail to appear or fact, because the additional charges each time vary from stolen auto to meth and drug paraphernalia.

Given the number of mugshots this "fun time" girl not only likes doing it the wrong way but must enjoy handcuffs and being "stuffed" in a patrol car as well.

Best of luck to you Miss Heavenly and Merry Christmas.

Marcus Jackson woulda let her work her way out of trouble

I'd hit it, pay her bail and hit it again. She could call it community service. She'd get bonus points for doing it the wrong way for sure.

Anonymous said...

She's still in the McFadden Staycation Inn. Looks like she was picked by MCSO on a bench warrant. I'm guessing she didn't show up for community service.

Let's all play everyone's favorite game...."Fear Factor: CMPD Edition".

Stage #1: If you have to eat 3 of the 5...which do you choose?

A. A red hot coal from the furnace in the LEC basement.
B. Vicki Foster
C. A saltine cracker with the special sauce from North Tryon CRU.
D. Amy Stukey
E. A live cobra
F. A homeless guy's underwear

Has there been any new news about the Police Pledge? Did anyone affected get an attorney that is willing to fight the city?

I challenge all CMPD officers to be accountability to one another. Unionization of police may not be allow in this state but the will of the people who truly run this organization is, and can be, louder than imaginable. Get your mind off of the chump change raises and fight for the sense of “family” we once had! When command staff continuously abuses their power and push their own agenda we, sgts and below, need to set in motion, Positive change. Change that will be impactful! Change that commands respect, not demand it! Line supervisors.... step the hell up and focus on how to address the problems that the “Chain of Command” is refusing to address. When valid conversations are had but are met with unwillingness to addressed, the problem will never be resolved. To my front line supervisors, beware of the consequences of not exercising your duty to your officers who go out everyday and meet the expectations you set for them. Brothers and Sisters the time has come to bring back the “family” nature of our profession and our department!

Anonymous said...

Pshshhhssh. Just work on not accidently injuring other officers doing their jobs, first. Dumbass motherfuckers.

Anonymous said...

10:55am. I couldn't agree with you more, however this isn't the NYPD or another real police department where you'd look after your buddy and take up for them... NO. Quite the opposite. I do blame command staff but I also blame the limp wristed, faggot ass back stabbers that believe they will score points with the brass by ratting on their fellow officers. Gone are the days when you had a problem you'd go directly to that person and have a heart to heart... no, its far easier to sneak behind backs and tattle to supervisors. Tell me I am wrong. Folks like that do not deserve to wear the badge. They are cowards. Some of you know who I am talking about. Some get promotions on their backs, some get them by throwing folks under busses and very few actually earn them on merit. This is an epidemic that is department wide. Until that culture changes nothing will.

Anonymous said...

14:24-If I see someone with brass or a special assignment.....I think its a rat immediately.

Anonymous said...

Oh good luck. That sense of family left with the oldest generations. Those of us with that senability who are left have supervisors half our age and and less than 1/2 our experience. The milenials and younger don't have that same community sense. They grew up online.

It's only going to get worse. Lawsuits for hostile work environment and a national Police Workers rights law the national FoP is pushing are really tje only hope.

10:55..

Collective bargaining passed in NC several years ago. Police, Fire and Teachers should have unions by now. The problem is, the lack of guidance. Officers pay ridiculous dues to FOP and PBA but get nothing in return. Those organizations are nationwide, they represent and back Police Unions all over the country. So the question is, why haven’t they assisted NC LEO’s in creating one? I don’t have that answer but I believe numerous charter leaders look the other way as long as they are being taken care of.

I heard years ago, “Unions are bad for Police here, they keep bad officers”. I laughed then and continue to laugh now. What a Union would give is the power for positive change and not being punished and railroaded by small minded command staffers that were never Police and never will be.

The millennials don’t care about anything but themselves. They are all introverted and barely squeak by. Law Enforcement in America is in for rude awakenings in the next 5 years. Especially here. So sad. Everyone is afraid of repercussions for speaking out and standing up. That is the reason to stand up. TEAM concept has become the standard of the ME and I syndromes.

Anonymous said...

Anon 1742hrs: WTF are you smoking homes? You gonna get a random screening for sure. NC Law specifically prohibits public sector collective bargaining and has since 1959 and absolutely nothing has changed. Get on the Googles and search for 20 seconds and you'll see you're wrong. Fact checking on this site shouldn't be this easy.

Very few of the troops that bitch and moan about a lack of team culture in this agency are the same ones riding numbers from vacant parking lots while newer officers stumble about learning this job on their own between relentless call volume. Yes, there have been many bad apples get promoted. Many of them. And the reputation and culture of CMPD tanked because of it. However, if you bitch about bygone days and you never stepped up to try out for a promotion or grew past patrol to learn something new and pass it on to the new generations, then you are part of the problem. There are too many seasoned and knowledgeable 15+ year veterans that sit and grumble but have never learned to do anything but how to write a report and who now perpetuate a cycle of cynicism in this department. You are equally as responsible for poor retention rates as the command staff who sit around and write people up during body cam audits. You have the potential to step up and call out 1-4 year rookies for their arrogance and teach them how to do this job properly and with integrity, but you’re too busy bitching to see past your own sense of entitlement. This job is far from perfect and there are many days where the negative can outweigh the positive, but if some of you embraced a little responsibility for once, it would look a hell of a lot different around here and perhaps we wouldn’t have to deal with the legacies of the Katrina Graue’s and the Rodney Monroe’s.

Enough have tried to get promoted. Putney threw a whole list out well before it's expiation time.

Now we have that great rule of 5 all the way down to sergeant. They want who they want and until told to do otherwise by a court will continue to do so.

Because of the rule of 5 you have to play their game or think exactly like them to get up even one rank now.

Anonymous said...

It makes me sick that people think this place is a great, respected department. Mental Disorders for sure and racism gone crazy all over this place.

Anonymous said...

If the administration is using the "rule of five" for sergeants, someone needs to go back and research the lawsuit from approximately 1990-1991. Although that list reached all the way down to around the 60's to 70's to promote, passing over the nine officers that sued, the lawsuit ruled that the department had to go straight down the list for sergeants.

Anonymous said...

Well those salty veterans, some, have tried to help the younger generation, but alas, the millennials already know all there is to know about everything, so they don't want to hear it anyway. And when that 3 year "seasoned veteran" officer goes to an investigative unit, they really, really know everything there is to know and don't want to hear it. Especially when you have the likes of Brian Scharf telling people to forget whatever it is the law says, or even the constitution, and do it the way he wants or get out.

Anonymous said...

All the old guys on here need to shut the fuck up. You are complacent and do the same shit every day. Step out of the way and let us lead this PD into a future that gets results.

D,B,A-depends on how hot it is

Anonymous said...

@ Dec 18 11:13. There is some truth to what you are saying, however I am not talking about the lazy officers that do nothing and then complain when they don't get promoted. What I am saying is there are plenty of officers who score high on the tests, make good arrests, do good in the interview etc and still get passed over from the list of societal victimhood... pick your victim, gay, black, female and the list goes on. Command staff would promote a female officer who is marginal at best because she's perfected felacio on the right receipient. If that doesn't happen then they're perfectly fine with allowing these substandard officers to traipse into their offices with dirt or "so called dirt" on another officer. I had a sergeant years ago, if an officer did that he'd say, "have you spoken with him or her yet" and if the answer was no he'd call that other officer into the room so he or she could at least face their accuser. This way the BS tattletaling would end.

Anonymous said...

9:31, careful one of those "old guys" might just be in a position to save your ass one day. If you're "results" include scoring the highest homicide rate in over 2 decades, continue along and run Charlotte into the ground. In the next decade this "millennial policing" mentality will cause Charlotte to resemble Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago and Baltimore.

For all of those who don't need someone to teach them anything, best of luck as you figure it out on your own. For those who give a shit to learn, there are still plenty of good officers willing to teach.

Anonymous said...

Save your ass? Save their own ass and get to retirement safely...

Aint that right, airport? You always complaining on here about getting to retirement and getting AC all day.

Anonymous said...

12:56... the airport officers are about to get a rude awakening.. McFadden and his bunch of flunkies are about to take that red headed step child and run it into the ground. I am just wondering how many we're gonna loose when they have to do real cop work.

Anonymous said...

How much longer will the hirebacks continue to be here illegally? When is the state going announce they're decision?

Anonymous said...

1:31 - hello former disgruntled flunky airport officer. We all know who you are. You were always proven to spread lies and deception. On a side note I think the real deal is between MCSO and CATS.

Anonymous said...

From a city employee to all - the MCSO is NOT coming to the airport. This was proven to be a false claim few weeks back. The airport is owned by the city not the county. The city runs CMPD and the Aviation department.

Anonymous said...

@2:27. You are probably a current AP officer (and a racist I might add) Don't you worry about MCSO and CATS, I was smart enough to get out when I could.. don't be mad that I make more than you. and for 2:30, check your facts... MCSO used to work off duty out there years ago, now their making it official... further more I hope Gary staffs it with 100% black deputies. cracker motherfuckers

Anonymous said...

WTF?!! You airport people got nothing better to do than get on here and blast each other... lol. No wonder you are all department rejects. Its embarrassing.

Anonymous said...

5:47 FYI more CMPD officers that were not airport before have been in more trouble than prior airport officers

Anonymous said...

7:13.. probably why they are at the airport, for whatever reason they may be less of a liability there. probably not much action searching bags with TSA.

Anonymous said...

Let's face the truth. This agency went downhill when the city started looking to outside candidates for the chief position. Now one of our own is chief but the damage has been done by two decades of tainted and corrupt guidance. The only way for CMPD to get back to what it once was is to look back into history and become the CPD that I remember. That was a fine agency and a great group of officers to work with.

Anonymous said...

So we're at 106 now for the year. great job Putney.. Maybe you should retire, do us all a favor. You walk around with this cocky swagger and tough guy persona but in reality your just another puppet on a string and the liberal city council and mayor at holding the strings. Get a set of balls and take care of business. every division in this city needs good leadership and it starts at the top.

Anonymous said...

Hiring outside Chiefs both in the Police and the Fire Departments has proven to start the demise of both departments. It’s time for the ground pounders to stand together. I mean unless your specifically targeting him why else would you peer into his car with flashlights
on a fishing expedition. When the public says “don’t you have anything better to do than harass black people”?
This is what they’re talking about. This is a lot of cop work for it to be dismissed.

Anonymous said...

I agree with 10:25/ 6:57. If you were working at the arboretum and just happened to pass a random vehicle and smelled weed, are you going to wait around until that occupant comes back? Let’s be honest now. Those officers knew it was DaBaby’s car and targeted him specifically.

Anonymous said...

Remember that time that Jonathan lured that guy to Walmart and then shot him "in self defense".

Good times

Anonymous said...

These CRU officers and their command need to learn discretion. What a waste of police resources for something so trivial. The better cases at a concert like that would be looking for felons with guns. These officers waited around hours for a simple possession case that the DA will NEVER prosecute. It will NEVER be lab tested to show it contains over 0.3 THC. Then you decide to un-arrest him and get egg all over your faces. Now he’s gloating and CMPD looks like the grinch. The community sees it and this takes us all a step back.

Anonymous said...

They did find a gun in the car and the ivory tower told them to unarrest, I'm assuming for PR...but your right hes not a felon so its nothing special....Just curious on why that was not mentioned in the press release tho

Anonymous said...

12:03. Tell me this case isn’t exactly like when command staff has a hard on for a particular officer. Will they not turn some nickel bag bullshit into a capital case? Some things never change

Anonymous said...

Waka-Flaka knothead comes to town, causes a shooting. "Police should do something" Big uproar. Baby Daddy whatever comes to town gets arrested and it's a "waste of resources" Big uproar. Popo can't win. Popo ain't responsible for the turd's weed or attitude. Either act like Popo or sit in the car and collect a check. Can't be both.

Anonymous said...

Didn’t they arrest for felony CCW + weed? Then spineless Estes made them change it to misdemeanor and tickets!

Anonymous said...

Testees, sorry I mean Estes had a hand in this? Why am I not surprised. Did he ever get caught up with his state mandated training for 2019. Hate for him to loose his certification.

Anonymous said...

In this situation sitting in the car and eating a donut while getting paid would have been the appropriate response. They should have known that locking up a rapper for smokin weed after he handed out christmas presents to hundreds of kids would create a shit storm. Sometimes these rooks cant see the forest for the trees. And who really gives a shit if a ghetto rapper does smoke weed. Hell, I know Drs, lawyers, AND cops that smoke. They just aren't stupid enough to do it in public.

Anonymous said...

Here is what I think.

The cops wasted their time going after a guy giving out presents at Christmas. It was just weed. There are open cases for years.

The CMPD threw those cops under the bus and opened an IA investigation for violation of policy which is a joke. That is like sending a message to the rest of the department. Don't enforce drugs or else.

Anonymous said...

IA has investigated incidents far more trivial than this.

Anonymous said...

if it's Sgt. David Georgian investigating, they are safe. He can't find his way out of a brown paper bag with both ends cut off.

Anonymous said...

5:48 Dave is a good guy. He's not looking for a gold star in badge collecting. Ever think about that??

Anonymous said...

Bunch of rookies looking to make a small pot case. You aren’t gonna make good cases and sizeable drug seizures if you keep focusing and spending time on the small stuff. You also will never make cases on someone like this if you are sooo nieve that you don’t think he has lawyers counseling him on what to do and not do. Look for the big seizures that can’t be ignored, which you won’t find on the traffic stops unless you work the interstates. North - focus on 77 south on vehicles coming into Meck from I-40. Freedom/Metro look for vehicles coming 85 north from Atlanta.

Anonymous said...

8:59, "Dave" must be a friend of yours. I've worked for him and outside the department, I wouldn't trust him to package my french fries. Keep drinking the Kool Aid.

Anonymous said...

I thought Georgian was an idiot when I worked with him. They put him at a school since the shift didn't trust his dumb ass. He was a nice guy and that's about it. Not a cop, though.

Anonymous said...

9:07. enlighten me. I've been retired now for a few years. I heard they relaxed the shaving rules if the officer has a chit (note from doctor for those who never served) On here you really gotta separate the BS from whats is true. There is no way IA has the time to make "cases" on non-shaving officers, c'mon.

Anonymous said...

Glad to see the state is investigating the shooting from last night too. This makes it more impartial and CMPD isn't investigating CMPD.. maybe all our internal investigations should be handled by a 3rd party IA also.

1. Never did jack shit as a patrol officer
2. Couldn’t find their handcuffs if their life depended on it
3. Regularly attends the CMPD winter hood rat gala
4. Works a solid 28 hour work week

Plus, who else is gonna send the divisions write ups when they see a patrol officer parking in the bus lane to swear out a BS Warrant for another ghetto DV that won’t go anywhere.

Anonymous said...

@8:46pm you forgot a couple requirements:
5. Was a patrol sgt for less than a year
6. Bombed the practicals but was promoted anyway

Ok. Honest question. How many of you feel the IA boards are completely impartial/fair?
Meaning, do any of you think (like myself) that maybe an officers direct supervisors might
