According to WSOC's Joe Bruno the Charlotte FOP president Mark Michalec, UE `50 president Dominic Harris and Tom Brewer Charlotte FireFighters Assoc. jointly signed the letter addressed to "City Leaders" on Thursday September 2nd, opposing a vaccine mandate.
Based on City of Charlotte data Charlotte Fire's vaccine rate is abysmal but wait just a minute look at the fine print.
If you read the fine print you will notice the numbers are shit. Totally worthless and might as well be made up out of gossip and based on my Twitter feed.
The entire calculation is bogus, but this is how Marcus Jones and his clowns run this city. Without real number you can't make decisions. Jone's just wants to fuel the hysteria.
FOP letter is spot on no mandate should be made, the decision to vaccinate or not is between city employees and their doctor.
CP's take: I did the Pfizer without any issues. Or so I thought, about 2 weeks after the second dose I noticed I had become hyper sensitive to dust and pollen and my house full of dogs. I discounted tit o just allergies but it got worse. I was miserable runny eyes, cough and a slight fever. Back to the doctor, no answers, add some OTC allergy meds and still no relief.
Finally about 12 weeks after second does the symptoms have subsided. Doctor's best guess yep it was the vaccine maybe.
I my case the decision was a no brainer I'm in contact with random people in small spaces for a considerable amount of time and I hate being sick.
Will I do the booster hummmm probably not.
