No doubt the tight labor market makes the hiring process difficult particularly in the service industry. But when the problem be comes criminal the fault is always due to poor management and lack of supervision.
The 7 Eleven at Piper Station is a prime example of absentee management. The place is a total mess and has been that way for years.
And then there's this from a South Charlotte parent:
Around 5 o’clock Saturday May 14, 2022 our 19 year old daughter went into the store to get some snacks.
She waited at the counter for approximately 2 minutes and looked around the store to see if someone was working. It was at that time she witnessed the cashier completely exposed and pleasuring himself.
A line had formed behind her.
The man saw that she saw him, apologized and continued to check her and the other customers out.
The man was black, with a red marvel t shirt and black sweatpants looking to be in his 20’s. I immediately called the police and went to the gas station. I walked into the store to verify he was the one that was still working. He had put on a 7-11 black jacket that was fully unzipped revealing the marvel t shirt.
My daughter and I left the parking lot and parked at the hotel next door waiting for the police to arrive We were positioned in view of the front entrance. At 6:15 pm the police arrived and asked for my daughter to identify the man as they escorted her past the front doors.
By this time the gentlemen behind the counter was a different man (whom we had seen walking the perimeter of the store while we were waiting). He spoke to the police and said he had been the only one working at the store since 2 o’clock.
We did not see the man who had exposed himself leave through the front of the store, so either he was still inside or went out the back.
Please be aware and tell your children/friends/family to avoid this gas station.
A police report has been filed and hopefully they will review the cameras in and outside the store to identify this sick individual. CMPD report number 20220514170800
No word of any arrest. The girl gets props continuing to stand in line.
CP reached out to 7 Eleven corporate so far nothing but crickets.
This may just be a local thing but the tight market shouldn't mean hiring perverts. This seems to be in desperation. Also gives ironic meaning to the slogan "Home of the Big Gulp!".
Sign from last July
Most people only buy gas there, and only when on fumes since it is the highest priced Exxon in South Charlotte. Inside sale are supported by landscape laborers and construction crews.
The property is in sad repair. The grass is cut once a month and the landscaping leaves much to be desired. The dead trees are a nice touch. They've been dead or dying for years.

Pledge fund?
Again...Thugs and Hood rats!
Sounds like the regional manager needs to pay them a visit!
Sounds like someone needs to file a lawsuit. I'm sure the in-store video would be damning in discovery. Go ahead and take the payout.
Sounds like the daughter has seen her fair share and wasn't all that concerned.
Do you have any pictures?
Did he even offer her a Slurpee?
Big Gulp?
So that TX shooter was a transgender fag… that’s a clue in our business.. you liberals have mental disorders.. there’s your evidence
But keep on voting Democrat… they’re doing a great job
It is really a poorly run dump. I'd not let my daughter go in that store.
A war on police officers was signed today. A bill wanting to place us in a database for allegations a liberal anti-cop civil service board will sustain on us from here on. God bless all and keep your heads down and focus on getting a paycheck and retirement over risking being blacklisted by this liberal anti police administration
Michalec? FOp? Anything? No radio shows podcasts on this?
Brothers & Sisters,
Below is a Press Release the National Fraternal Order of Police (NFOP) made regarding the recent Executive Order on Police Reform. Please keep in mind, that while we may individually disagree with some of what is in this Order, the National FOP along with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), was instrumental in helping craft this Executive Order. One of the items missing in this Executive Order is references to ending qualified immunity for law enforcement. It was the work of the NFOP and IACP that led to the removal of this language. As you will read, the NFOP is willing to work with anyone who has an evidence-based approach to effective changes, something this Lodge agrees with as well.
This executive order is issued by the President of the United States, and you should be proud that the Fraternal Order of Police was involved in its development, for without it, this Order could have created a different outcome. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
Maybe time to give the PBLA a hard look. You decide.
if police departments are state run not federal, how does POTUS have authority to issue an executive order affecting them?
