So this is apparently on (of course) Next Door but I'm still speechless. My first thought is oh good Lord! Then on the web site I'm greeted with the following:

ESTABLISHED IN 2009 TO SERVE CHRIST THROUGH PUBLIC SAFETY UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF NORTH CAROLINA GENERAL STATUTE 15A-404

And a long sidebar of 2nd amendment, conceal carry laws and 

"Court Holdings Pertaining to the Authority of the Stonehaven Community Patrol (Private Persons) to Detain Individuals Engaged in Criminal Activity"

Maybe this is old news? But all I can think of is that we are rapidly heading towards, Travon Martin vs George Zimmerman and high end homes with small yard signs that announce "24-Hour Security provided by Carolina Armed Response"  as they have in Miami and Brentwood - Los Angeles.
