What’s the point of getting rid of CRU for only some divisions and not all? As if staffing isn’t a department wide issue.
Hey brother, some divisions need a specialized unit of men to handle certain cases that patrol dummies can’t handle or will botch.
CRU, acronym for Crime Reduction Unit. Overall crime stats don’t show “reduction”. The division offices have never been safer since the inception of this unit. They should abolish the CRU’s and reduce the fraud of paycheck collectors.
CRU- A place to hide captains pets from driving around all night and taking reports. A notorious dumping ground for people that the LEC didn’t want around and useless on homicide scenes.
CRU so Tacticool. Two year wonder squads, all show and no go. Nickel bag and crack pipe search warrants. Blind squirrels can do a better job and they don’t have beards, tattoos and drop holsters.
CRU is just as bad as any job around here. We just need to fill patrol spaces since we only had like 10 in the academy.
There are only so many CC positions and those usually get given to females and old guys.
What is "Sloppy Joe" McGarity up to these days? Still violating peoples rights and harassing his subordinates while wearing shorts and flipflops?
RoMo promised to get rid of the specialized units but all he did was rename them!
I helped to train most of the CRU idiots in my division and they are worse officers now than when they were in field training!
I'm glad McGarity isn't in Eastway Division!

Eastway was garbage after Hollar came here. His daughter is a junkie and he was trying to stop our CRU from doing dope work in Plaza.
