You have no idea how much medical care costs until you have some major issue and spend a few days at the hospital.
Text from my brother:
I just got the bill for my 4 days in the hospital and drugs alone were $8,972.23!
OMG that's more than I spent on drugs the entire 4 years of college WTF!
He must be feeling better his sense of humor is back.

The phrase is: cost shifting. I don’t think Obama has the answers and only time will tell whether he prevails. The real answer is tort reform and to take care of the problems that exist – not to put the meat axe to our medical system – talk to any of your doctors, as I have, they will tell you that Obama does not have a clue.
