Charlotte's Civil Service board voted Gina Cook off the island and Chief Monroe made it official this afternoon. The emailed announcement is below.

Subject: Personnel Actions By direction of the Chief of Police, the following personnel actions have been approved:
Terminations/Resignations: Police Officer Gina Cook, Code # 0887, assigned to Canine Unit effective 12/09/2011.
Cedar's Take: Since the Charlotte Civil Sevice Board met yesterday we are assuming this is a termination.
