Crazy Connie South Charlotte's Angry Homeless Woman is MIA

Crazy Connie - that angry homeless woman who has been an eyesore, traffic hazard, health and sanitation concern along the Pineville-Matthews Road corridor for the past two years is MIA.

All that if left is her four stolen Walmart shopping carts.

Connie was last seen Christmas Eve taking a squat behind some bushes at Calvary Church.

Earlier in the week she was ripping red Christmas Bows off of mail boxes in the Candlewyck development.

Connie is part of the obvious decline of Charlotte and exploding homeless population that thrives in liberal cities.

This phenomenon is new to Charlotte natives like myself, who are appalled at the idiocy of bleeding heart transplant liberals who think people like Connie and her lifestyle are acceptable.

These northern liberals are the reason Charlotte’s homeless population continues to expand.

Enforcement of current panhandling laws is problematic and liberals simply perpetuate the problem by rolling down their windows and handing over a dollar or two.

Clearly Connie has mental health issues, yet CMPD is helpless to remove her and others from Charlotte's streets and sidewalks.

Like the homeless camp uptown these new to Charlotte situations are the fault of Charlotte City Government, the same people who have allowed the Dee Dee Harris wildlife pond and homeless camp on Gleneagles Road to grow from four people to more than 20.

It’s obviously a mental health issue because our mental health system is broken and has been so since the late 80s. We’re now seeing the results of 35+ years of neglect. Take a drive north of uptown... combined with the economic down turn its a disaster. By the way , concerned citizens got her 2 weeks in a local hotel so she could be out of the weather.

Good to hear the woman is off the streets, and nice of some thoughtful people to get her out of the weather. But that doesn't address the real issue for Connie and others. Connie should be in a home or center where she can get the help she needs. Camped right on the edge of the road where people normally drive 65 or faster is not safe.

Safe? I guess the drugs that are passed around there are safe. You should get out of your car and walk around the camp ground. Check out the needles on the ground.

Many of these people live that way by choice! They thrive off liberal idiots feeling sorry for them and giving them money and free stuff so they don't have to do anything but use drugs and drink alcohol. Many of the "homeless" people I used to deal with have criminal records and are wanted in other states who won't extradite them. Charges include B&E,Domestic Violence, and assorted drug violations. They can't go to a shelter because they are drunk, high, or get into fights. Several have told me that they can't get jobs because they might have to take a drug test. The city needs to get off of their ass and enact legislation to charge these people so that they will move elsewhere. Mental health, yeah right, manipulation and playing the system to their advantage making the liberals fall for it every time. Wait, they'd rather decide what street names should be changed so that the BLM idiots won't feel intimidated to walk down while selling crack or smacking their baby Momma while waiting on their check to come.

It's a new year, how many homicides so far?

Braxton Winston needs to change his name. If they want to completely erase everything about what they consider racism then he needs to change his name. "Braxton" is the name of Confederate General Braxton Bragg. Racism in action? Way to go Liberals!

Homicides?.....Pledge fund?

If we had more Social Workers employed by the city instead police, REAL police and not what we are getting out of the academy these days, then there wouldn't be all of this violence!

What officer or sgt thought it was a good idea to go 43 in freedom this morning in the pouring rain with a person who stole a candy bar? Better watch yourselves unless you don’t like having a job or worse

Here’s a liberal nut case in your back yard Cedar!

Forgive my spelling or autocorrect. I have cracks in my phone screen and I’ve had some wine* Can we all start 2021 with a mission to be more friendly to each other on Nextdoor and use this app as it was intended for? I’m seeing posts and comments that are clearly for the sole purpose of gossiping. Especially when it comes to people who are struggling (mentally or financially). I feel like if it does not affect you or you don’t have a solution to the problem, it should be kept to yourself. If you drive past a group of homeless people and they are not on your property, it’s none of your business (unless you’d like to help). ANY ONE OF US can be in that situation right now and I’m disgusted that a few of you are worried about the way it “looks” but making no effort to find solutions. A sweet young man offered to organize a group of his friends to help the Fort Mill homeless community and the original poster/ complainer then deleted comments. I see posts about a woman nearby who suffers from mental illness and some of you label her “crazy” and others attempt to diagnose her on NEXTDOOR. How about using this app to help instead of stir the pot? It’s not beneficial to point out other’s misfortunes. We all, myself included, need to start off the new year with positivity. That’s all

Personally I prefer the old fashion way of dealing with homeless panhandling driving then to the city limits and pointing towards Gastonia we would normally give them two or three chances if that didn’t work we’re driving to the furthest place from uptown and beat the crap out of them and tell them if they came back it would be worse that usually did the trick

Back in the early 90's I remember some really remote areas in SC that were great spots to provide them with a "courtesy transport" to. Typically you wouldnt hear from them again for weeks or maybe months. Whenever they would see a marked unit in the future they would run the other direction. That was displacement of the homeless at its best.

Thank you...That's old school taking care of business!

If you are still here after 2020, then you will never leave CMPD. So stop bitchin about a raise or you leavin..you aint leaving after 2020. I agree that this new garbage from the academy is aweful, but its been that way since 2005.

7:33 - I hear you, and all of that sounds nice...I too have been guilty of handing out dollars at the corner, BUT...needles and poop create disease and harm people and wildlife. No one wants this to be like Nancy Pelosi's district in SF, but that's where its headed because city govt is too worried about street names and have no concern for this problem. what if they took that time and money and helped with the homeless mental health problem? They wont because prefer to have helpless citizens. And from the top to the bottom of our liberal government they waste time and resources on stupid shit like the following article link... https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/01/insanity-democrat-rules-package-117th-congress-proposes-removing-gendered-terms-like-father-mother-son-daughter/

Our government doesn't care that they are causing business to close with shut downs, that's what they they want. Make us all homeless, helpless, crime ridden and stupid with nowhere to turn except to those in power. Imagine all of the money they just handed out to foreign governments for gender studies in Pakistan etc...and 5 B for mass transit in New York, 15 B for Broadway, lizards on a treadmill (WTF is that supposed to do?)Imagine if that money- your federal tax dollars -instead went to solve these problems. Or something that actually mattered. Liberal cities always have more homeless problems because they intentionally create them instead of helping citizens. They want the people dependent. Please pass the wine.

Yall, this should scare the hell out of everyone...

https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2021/a416

Found on GP ... A416 relates to “the removal of cases, contacts and carriers of communicable diseases that are potentially dangerous to the public health.”

No we are not NY but we have a Dem governor that will follow suit if it passes. NY is trying to pass a bill to allow the governor to detain anyone that they deem to have a communicable disease and their contacts. Guaranteed it wont be the homeless that they are putting into internment camps for having a communicable disease that the governor deems potentially dangerous to public health. The detainment would also include anyone the diseased person has come into contact with, until such time as the governor decides its safe to release them.

Cedar that’s not Connie that’s camping out with the shopping carts. Connie is the crazy white lady that has a house over by Old Providence elementary. The crazy lady with the shopping carts apparently stays with her brother sometimes and on the sidewalk when God tells her to.

The problem is that people keep giving them money. It happens all over the city and these people move around to where they can get the most money. Not surprisingly, the money goes to support their habit of drugs and alcohol. The city and county have the authority to enact legislation to deal with these people given to them by the state which is given to the state by the federal government. Thew just won't do it in hopes that if they ignore the problem long enough it will go away so they can get back to renaming streets. There needs to be legislation prohibiting people from giving them money.

Anonymous said...

It's not going to stop until people stop giving them money.

Anonymous said...

Stop giving them sleeping bags and tents too. All your doing is ruining our city and facilitating them in dragging down our quality of life. They have access to the shelter but choose not to use the shelter so they can get high.

What’s the status of our hazard pay?

Anonymous said...

Wow 7:20 .... maybe we should just round them up and send them to “camps” since obviously they are so undesirable. And since they are so undesirable , maybe we should just eliminate them. They are after all undesirable and it’s too hard to help our fellow man. I’m sure you will be the first to volunteer to pull the trigger on these fellow American citizens. Your type of thinking is a slippery slope that mankind has repeatedly gone down before.... and the funny thing is you probably consider yourself a Christian ! You’re a pathetic excuse for a human.

Anonymous said...

I am 7:20 so let me go ahead and respond to 11:16's foolishness. Christian or not, it is common sense. We have so many social programs in this city/state/country it is unreal. There is no reason for folks to be living in tents on public property. I don't know your background 11:16 and I won't speculate but I doubt you worked Central district for any period of time or have to take reports from innocent citizens who pay their taxes, contribute to our society and do their part to make this city a better place that have been victimized by drug addicts who fail to get help. I am in no way saying we should "eliminate" another human being. You've heard the saying "you can bring a horse to water but you can't make him drink". Well, this is sort of like that. We can bring them to detox, mental health, innervision, and the list goes on. We're the only society that rewards laziness. Let me stop you before you go throwing the "COVID" card out there... this was an issue long before Covid. And while we're on the subject of Covid, you want to discuss public health... lets start with the thousands of people deficating in the streets, leaving scraps and garbage all up and down 12th and 11th streets on 277. We as responsible citizens are wearing our masks and washing our hands..... what's being done about the public health crisis on 12th street??? We have judgmental geniuses like yourself 11:16 calling me a pathetic excuse for a human. Well, pardon me for thinking outside the proverbial box and using common sense enough to say we need to clean up the street (LITERALLY) before we go down the path of San Fransisco.
Also, if you care so much, let the homeless come stay with you... see how long that lasts before you go calling 9-1-1.

Hazard pay! Pledge fund?

Anonymous said...

1:09 PM,

No Hazard pay. No pledge fund. And if the Biden vote certification actually goes through on the 6th, the only fund that will happen soon is the police defund. I heard Charlotte already has a bill they're trying to pass for that. But I didn't go look it up. Anyone know if that's true?

Anonymous said...

11:52. Couldn’t agree more 👍👍

Anonymous said...

Sieg heil y’all , seig heil !

Anonymous said...

1152, I remember CMPD was cleaning up the sidewalks with shovels and brooms when there were trying to get a raise. I will never pick up a broom and sweep the fucking sidewalk like Earls was so eager to do. The city has lazy people to clean up the city for us, not have some desperate cops do it for free.

I still can't believe that Vicki Foster was rehired. She cost this city so much money in that lawsuit against her.

I can't believe this.

Are any of you helping to enforce the Covid rules? If so, I hope you consider that congress just brought in Gwen Moore from Wisconsin to vote on the house floor, 6 days after she tested positive for Covid-19. Just to vote for Nancy Pelosi to keep her speakership. If they were really concerned about this virus. Concerned enough to shut down businesses and have 10pm curfews, they would not have done that.

Anonymous said...

The new Congress ended their prayer with... "Amen and A woman" what idiots! If your last name ends in man, I wonder what it will be changed to.

Anonymous said...

What was Vicki sued for?

Anonymous said...

Did Vicki's gift card stash run out from her retirement party?
Gastonia used to have its own way of handling. Pour hot oil on them while sleeping behind the courthouse. They tend to move elsewhere after that.

Anonymous said...

1:14pm. I heard she made a comment about Capt. Dance's small penis and he sued the fook out of the department.... yet she still continues to work there it seems. Also, if you are counting on your pensions, think again. There is a mass exodus of officers from all over NC, not just CMPD. If there aren't new/younger officers paying into the system there isn't funds to pay the older ones. Been retired 15 months now and I've already had 2 "corrections" in my check... meaning less $$ folks. State tried to BS me and said it was because they were initially over paying me. Nice right??

Pledge fund ?? I think tRump stole mine.

I want to bet that in a few years they'll get rid of the hire back program for officers like us.

yet fuck face foster and JJ fucking our officers with a 12inch strap on as we hold on and just take it all while Lyles and Braxton deep throat us and we swallow like fuckin little birds do when they feed...
