Non LE here. I know a dozen retired CMPD Officers who cashed in on the "Pledge Fund" got paid and moved on. As I understand it was a Ponzi scheme sold to newbies and it worked well until the old guys talking overtook the new guys giving. Then it was a house of cards.
So since it was payroll deducted it would seem to me that a class action lawsuit against the city would be justified. Am I wrong?
